Building a center that serves a diverse population of artists, students, teachers, patrons and community members requires strong community involvement through every step of the process. As we embark on a $6 million capital campaign for the Visual Arts Education Center we need the leadership and commitment of individuals, organizations, businesses, and foundations throughout our region.

Capital Campaign Committee

Bob and Dona Anderson, Co-chairs, Seattle. Bob served as Mayor of Everett from 1968 to 1977

and currently is a trade consultant serving Snohomish County. Dona is a gifted artist and member of the Northwest Designer Craftsmen.

Clay and Hap Wertheimer, Co-chairs, Everett. Clay is a surgical partner at Everett Bone and Joint.

Hap is the creative muscle behind Hap’s Garden Design. Both are actively invested in the community and winners of the 2006 Richard Wendt Award of Excellence for their outstanding support of the arts.
